About Dr. Fettman
Mark Fettman, MD, is a Board Certified Addiction Psychiatrist. He first became certified in Addiction Psychiatry in 1997 and was certified in Addiction Psychiatry in 2008. These Board Certifications are through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, which is a member of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABPN), the official recognized board for medical specialties in the United States. There are other types of Board Certification in medicine, but the Boards of the American Board of Medical Specialties are the most recognized and accepted standard of excellence.

Dr. Fettman graduated from medical school at the Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1973 and then completed a residency in Psychiatry at the University of Michigan Hospital’s Neuropsychiatric Institute in 1976. He became fully licensed to practice medicine in Michigan in 1974 and licensed in Ohio in 1991. He became Board Certified in General Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in l978.
Dr. Fettman has been actively practicing with Suboxone treatment for opiate addiction in the Columbus, Ohio area since 2007.
He is also a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, an honor which state district branches of the American Psychiatric Association bestow on members who stand out in their excellence in the field and service to their community and district chapter.
